After seven seasons in the NBA, Rodney Stuckey will finally be playing for a franchise that isn't the Detroit Pistons.

The deal, which is aimed at helping the Indiana Pacers fill the void in their backcourt left by Lance Stephenson, is for one year and is reportedly for the veteran's minimum.

Upon signing with his team, Stuckey, who will wear No. 2 in Indiana, met with the media at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

"I want to win; I want to go to the playoffs, Stuckey said. "It's not fun having the whole summer to do nothing. I just want to play basketball. This is a good opportunity to come and do that."

Five years have passed since Stuckey played in the postseason, but barring a Pacers collapse of epic proportions next season, he should still be playing basketball come late April.

2013-14 saw Stuckey average 13.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists over 26.7 minutes.
