"Ross asked for this, so first of all they've got to back up their words."

That was then-Brooklyn Nets center Andray Blatche back in April ahead of the team's playoff series against the Toronto Raptors. Before that, he had told Terrence Ross - who innocently answered that he'd like to play Brooklyn in the playoffs in a Reddit AMA - to be "careful what tree you bark up."

And now, Blatche could be teaming up with Ross and the Raptors. Or at least, they'll meet to discuss the idea in Vegas on Wednesday, according to an ESPN report.

This one's a bit out there, though, and not because of the playoff trash talk. While Blatche, 27, is athletic and offensively versatile, he doesn't fill an immediate need with the Raptors. More notably, he has several red flags for character on his resume, and the Raptors are admittedly built on a foundation of chemistry and synergy, something Blatche would conceivably threaten.

But perhaps if the market is so suppressed for Blatche that he'll come close to the league minimum, then he's worth the risk. What say you, Raptors fans?
