Bulls put up lowest-scoring half of season in loss to Celtics
The Chicago Bulls couldn't buy a basket against the Boston Celtics on Sunday.
After collecting just 26 points over the opening two quarters, Chicago set the mark for the lowest-scoring half in a game this season. The Bulls were ice cold from the field, shooting just 26.2 percent as a team versus an average Celtics defense.

Jimmy Butler and Bobby Portis were particularly bad on the offensive end, combining to go just 3-of-16 from the floor. Cameron Payne served as the lone Bull to shoot above 50 percent for the half, leading the way with seven points.
Entering the second half down 20, the Bulls are in serious danger of losing their fifth straight contest, and could end the day a game-and-a-half out of a playoff spot.
The Celtics won the game 100-80.
