USA Today Sports
He didn't get a triple-double, but Russell Westbrook was still his dominant self on Thursday night.
The Thunder point guard erupted for 45 points against the Dallas Mavericks, including 17 in the fourth quarter, to lift Oklahoma to a 109-98 victory. Westbrook also chipped in eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
After Enes Kanter was forced to leave the game in the second quarter, Westbrook was forced to carry more of the offensive load, finishing with his seventh 40-point game of the season.
