L2M reveals 4 missed calls profited Thunder in win vs. Rockets

A measly two points separated the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets in a 105-103 OKC win on Wednesday night.

With several incorrect non-calls in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter that benefited the Thunder, which the NBA acknowledged in their report released on Thursday, perhaps the end result would have worked out in Houston's favor instead:

  1. Russell Westbrook is in the paint without actively guarding an opponent for longer than three seconds (01:35.0)
  2. Steven Adams is in the paint without actively guarding an opponent for longer than three seconds (01:34.0)
  3. Andre Roberson clamps the arm of James Harden and affects his ability to retrieve the rebound (00:48.8)
  4. Westbrook grabs the arm of Clint Capela affecting his ability to retrieve the rebound (00:08.0)
With the Thunder in possession of the basketball with seven seconds left on the game clock, Westbrook elected to drive to the basket instead of picking up an intentional foul for two free throws, throwing down a powerful left-handed jam to seal the win for his side at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Westbrook finished with a line of 30 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists on 9-of-20 shooting in 36 minutes.
