Carmelo Anthony doesn't seem thrilled about his team's latest attempt to improve.

After the New York Knicks revealed Tuesday they've put assistant coach Kurt Rambis in charge of their defense, their star player didn't exactly give a ringing endorsement of the move.

"Whether we're comfortable with it or not, it is what it is so we have to buy into it," he said, as quoted by Newsday's Barbara Barker.

Melo seems less excited now than he was during the offseason, when the team made several transactions in an effort to build a playoff-caliber roster.

The Knicks have gotten off to a 2-4 start, and aren't looking like the super team Derrick Rose envisioned they'd be.

The point guard was also nonchalant about Rambis' increased responsibility, telling reporters it's a bigger deal to the coaches than the players.
