Chris Paul out at least 4-6 weeks after surgery on broken hand

The Los Angeles Clippers have likely lost their two best players for the remainder of the postseason.

After power forward Blake Griffin was ruled out for the playoffs due to a recurring quad injury, the Clippers announced Tuesday that point guard Chris Paul underwent surgery to repair his fractured right hand, and will be out indefinitely.

Paul will be re-evaluated in four-to-six weeks, leaving the door open for him to return should the Clippers somehow remain alive through the next two rounds without him or Griffin.

The Clippers, who are currently tied 2-2 in their first-round series with the Portland Trail Blazers, have been 22.8 points per 100 possessions better with Paul on the floor through four playoff games, after being 16.6 points per 100 better during the regular season.

And without either Paul or Griffin on the floor, well, they haven't been very good at all.
