Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin will miss the remainder of the postseason after re-aggravating a left quad injury in Game 4.

Griffin underwent an MRI on Tuesday morning that revealed no structural damage, and is expected to be ready for the beginning of training camp for next season. The 26-year-old already missed 41 games this season with the injury.

Griffin averaged 15.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, and four assists in four playoff contests. The Oklahoma product has averaged 21. 5 points, 9.6 rebounds, and four assists on 49.9 percent shooting over his career.

Los Angeles is already without All-Star point guard Chris Paul, making the loss of Griffin hurt even more.

Tied 2-2 in their opening round series with the Portland Trail Blazers, the Clippers will need to rely heavily on J.J. Redick and DeAndre Jordan if they hope to reach the second round of the playoffs for the third straight season.
