VIDEO: Praying mantis finds new home on head of Giants' Perez
San Francisco Giants outfielder Juan Perez made highlight reels everywhere Wednesday after making one of the best defensive plays of the season, and he's probably going to appear on television screens yet again Thursday.
Although, this time it won't be for a spectacular play.
A praying mantis decided to get a closer look at the Giants as they played the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park, and it got extra friendly with Perez:

The mantis continued to make its rounds climbing up the backs of Perez and his teammates:
At least things didn't get out of hand like they did when a swarm of bugs famously took over Game 2 of the American League Division Series between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians in 2007:
