Kansas City Royals rookie Paulo Orlando has shown a complete disregard for second base through his first seven games in the major leagues.
The 29-year-old has racked up seven hits through 26 big-league at-bats this season. While a pair of those went for singles, Orlando has already collected a league-leading five triples.

Orlando's success at the major-league level is long overdue. The Brazilian spent nine seasons in the minors and amassed more than 4,000 plate appearances before finally cracking a big-league roster.
The speedster's career-high in triples came in 2008, when he hit 14 in Single-A.
