Albert Pujols continued his assault up the home run leaderboard Sunday.
The Los Angeles Angels first baseman took Kansas City Royals right-hander Yordano Ventura deep in the first inning, moving into sole possession of 18th place on the all-time home run list.

Pujols, who turned on Ventura's 98-mph offering, entered the day in a four-way tie with 521 homers.
