Pence makes unorthodox catch from butt in foul ground
MLB.com
Hunter Pence does not do routine plays.
In what should have been a simple pop-up in the fourth inning Monday against the Pittsburgh Pirates, the San Francisco Giants outfielder persistently chased a high fly ball into foul territory off the bat of Josh Harrison.
So focused was Pence that he completely missed the bullpen mounds at AT&T Park, causing him to trip up on the play.
No worries, though, because he still - somehow - made the grab to end the inning.
