Bichette's home run ball lands where parents met in Boston

Bo Bichette's life came full circle on Tuesday when a home run ball he hit out of Fenway Park happened to land where his parents first met.

The fourth-inning homer from the Toronto Blue Jays shortstop touched down in front of a now-closed gym on Lansdowne Street in Boston, according to Sportsnet's Hazel Mae.

Bo's father Dante first met the rising star's mother Mariana at that gym in 1991.

Dante played 14 seasons in the majors and was with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1991 when he met Mariana.

He also suited up for the Red Sox during the final two seasons of his career. Most of his success came with the Colorado Rockies, including four All-Star seasons and 201 home runs.

Dante now works for the Blue Jays as a special assistant after previously serving as a major-league coach and guest instructor at spring training.
