The Buffalo Sabres announced the signing of forward Jerry D'Amigo to a one-year, two-way contract Thursday.
D'Amigo, 24, a sixth-round draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2009, has appeared in 31 career NHL contests.
He spent the majority of last season in the AHL, splitting time between the Springfield Falcons and Rochester Americans, earning 26 points in 59 games, while going pointless in nine games with the Sabres.
Buffalo acquired D'Amigo from the Maple Leafs in a 2014 trade for Luke Adam.
D'Amigo was the last restricted free agent that Buffalo had to lock up.
