Mike Babcock's coaching tenure hasn't featured a game behind the bench of the Toronto Maple Leafs as of yet, but the bench boss is already expressing his feelings about the new role.

The coach, who was on-hand at the NHL Draft with the Maple Leafs, also preached his excitement about the latest additions to the franchise's depth chart, but said it'll take hard work for players to crack the big club's roster.
Toronto drafted Mitch Marner, Travis Dermott, and Jeremy Bracco amongst others and acquired defenseman Martin Marincin from the Edmonton Oilers in a trade.
