Montreal Canadiens forward Brandon Prust will make his return to the Eastern Conference final in Game 6 Thursday against the New York Rangers.
Prust served a two-game suspension for a "late, violent hit" delivered to Rangers forward Derek Stepan in Game 3 (see below for details).
"We're pleased that Prust is back," said head coach Michel Therrien. "He'll want to play his best hockey."
In 12 playoff games prior to the suspension, Prust recorded two assists, 11 shots on goal and 30 penalty minutes. He will draw into the lineup in Dale Weise's absence.
