Doug Martin still wants to remove the nickname 'Muscle Hamster'
Kim Klement / USA TODAY Sports
Doug Martin hates "Muscle Hamster."
For years, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back has been campaigning against the nickname.
Apparently, not everyone at the NFL got the memo.
After the NFL referred to Martin by the moniker in a tweet, Martin responded by politely asking the league to refrain from using those two words to refer to him:
@NFL Appreciate the shout out but can you refrain from using that name please?

In a rare case of a Twitter dispute ending on good terms, the NFL was happy to comply:
@DougMartin22 You got it. Looking good nonetheless.

So ... anyone got a good idea for a new nickname?
