Patriots' Revis has no sympathy for Jets fans
It must be painful for New York Jets fans to watch Darrelle Revis head to a Super Bowl with archrival New England.
Revis starred for the Jets during the first six seasons of his career, but don't expect the Pro Bowler to be sympathetic to New York's current plight.
"Do I feel sorry for the Jets' fans? Um, not really," he said Tuesday. "It's not really my call. I didn't make the call. Management made the call at that time and they felt it was best to get rid of me. That was the situation. That is how I look at it."
New York dealt Revis to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013 and he ended up in New England a season later.
Revis helped the Jets to a pair of AFC title games during his tenure with the team, but the Jets could never get over the hump.
Watching him participate in the Super Bowl as a Patriot is going to be a bitter pill to swallow for New Yorkers.
