The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler report.

Woolen marks the Eagles' first free-agent signing from outside the team since the start of the legal tampering period Monday.

The 26-year-old projects to line up opposite first-team All-Pro cornerback Quinyon Mitchell. Philadelphia's cornerback group also contains Cooper DeJean.

Woolen has been a ballhawk over his four NFL seasons, recording 12 career interceptions and at least one each year. The Texas-San Antonio product made serious noise as a rookie in 2022 when he led the NFL with six interceptions.

Woolen was part of a Seahawks defense that allowed the fewest points in the NFL last season. He played in 16 games and made seven starts in 2025 for the eventual Super Bowl champions, grabbing one interception and breaking up 12 passes.

The Seahawks have now lost Woolen, running back Kenneth Walker, pass-rusher Boye Mafe, and defensive back Coby Bryant from their Super Bowl roster.
