Cardinals' Conner carted off in loss to 49ers with ankle injury

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner was carted to the locker room during Sunday's 16-15 loss against the San Francisco 49ers.
Conner went down after a rushing attempt in the third quarter and was officially ruled out minutes later with an ankle injury.

Conner had nine carries for 22 yards before exiting. He entered Week 3 with 73 rushing yards and one touchdown.
A two-time Pro Bowler, Conner gained over 1,000 rushing yards each of the last two seasons.
Trey Benson carried the load with Conner sidelined, compiling 42 yards on 10 carries. However, 29 of his 42 yards came on one carry.
