Cowboys optimistic Lamb avoided major ankle injury
Dallas Cowboys doctors believe wide receiver CeeDee Lamb avoided a significant injury to his ankle, owner Jerry Jones said after their 31-14 loss to the Chicago Bears.
"Let's just keep our fingers crossed," Jones told reporters, according to The Athletic's Jon Machota.
Lamb sprained his ankle in the first quarter. He came back for one play before bowing out for good. The Cowboys are still assessing which part of the ankle he sprained.
