The Minnesota Vikings aren't currently holding any discussions about possible extensions with general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and head coach Kevin O'Connell.

"It's not something we're talking about at this point," team president and co-owner Mark Wilf said Tuesday, according to the Pioneer Press' Dane Mizutani. "We're focusing on the season ahead."

Adofo-Mensah and O'Connell are preparing for their third season with the franchise. They both signed a four-year contract when they were hired in 2022.

Minnesota posted a 20-14 record in its first two seasons with Adofo-Mensah and O'Connell at the helm. The Vikings finished atop the NFC North Division in 2022, earning a playoff appearance with a 13-4 mark. However, after enduring injuries to key players such as Justin Jefferson and Kirk Cousins last season, the team concluded its 2023 campaign with a 7-10 record.

Wilf didn't confirm whether contract extensions are dependent on Minnesota earning a spot in the playoffs this season.

"I'm not going to put out a litmus test," Wilf said.

"We'll judge it like we've always done. We'll evaluate the full body of work for everybody," he added.

While Wilf wouldn't outline the exact benchmarks that could facilitate extension talks for the Vikings' coach and GM, he made it clear that the ownership group, which is entering its 20th year, is focused on capturing a Super Bowl title.

"We want to win. We're providing the resources and providing the leadership as best we can to make it happen, and I think we're in a good position to build toward that," Wilf said.
