Bills, Allen down Chiefs in highly anticipated rematch
The highly anticipated rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills came down to the wire again. This time, though, Josh Allen and Co. had the last laugh.
Allen engineered a 76-yard drive that ended with a Dawson Knox touchdown catch with 1:04 left in the fourth quarter, and the Bills defeated the Chiefs 24-20 on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
Patrick Mahomes had a chance to potentially take the lead in the final seconds of the game, but cornerback Taron Johnson sealed Buffalo's victory with a clutch interception.

It was the first time the Bills and Chiefs faced off since their thrilling game in the divisional round last season. Kansas City advanced to the AFC title game in January after defeating Buffalo 42-36 in overtime. The spectacular playoff matchup had four lead changes and 25 points scored in the final two minutes of regulation, with Mahomes leading the Chiefs on a 13-second, 44-yard drive to set up a game-tying field goal as time expired in regulation.
Mahomes finished Sunday's rematch with 338 yards and two touchdowns against two interceptions. Tight end Travis Kelce caught eight passes for 108 yards, while wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster enjoyed his best performance since joining K.C., racking up 113 yards and one touchdown on five receptions.
Allen outplayed Mahomes, finishing the evening with 329 yards to go along with touchdowns to three different receivers. Stefon Diggs led Buffalo in receiving with 10 catches, 148 yards, and one score.
Future Hall of Fame pass-rusher Von Miller also put on a show for Buffalo, recording two sacks and two tackles for loss. Miller joined the Bills in free agency on a six-year, $120-million contract.
The Bills improved to 5-1 ahead of their Week 7 bye, while the Chiefs dropped to 4-2. Kansas City visits the San Francisco 49ers next week.
