Twitter unimpressed with Colts-Broncos TNF snooze-fest
Peyton Manning and the thousands in attendance for Thursday's matchup between the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts probably went home disappointed.
The Colts defeated the Broncos 12-9 in overtime in arguably the worst game of the 2022 NFL season so far. Neither team scored a touchdown in the contest, and quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Matt Ryan were sacked a total of 10 times. The pair of star passers, who have 13 Pro Bowl berths and an MVP award between them, went just 47-for-80 passing with four combined interceptions on the night.
Twitter certainly wasn't impressed with what transpired. Here are some of the best reactions.

This is one of the worst games I’ve ever seen that involves both starting QBs and no bad weather

Amazon paid $13 billion over 11 years for Thursday Night Football. that's $1.18 billion per year. and there are 15 TNF games per year. long story short they paid about $78 million to broadcast this Colts-Broncos game

I think both team should consider punting on 1st down.

Per the broadcast: there has never been a game in which each starting QB had 4+ Pro Bowl selections and neither team scored a touchdown. 🫣 At least we're witnessing history! 😂

The way the Colts beat writers talked about Matt Ryan in training camp needs to be investigated by the FBI.
