Jaguars edge Dolphins in London to end 20-game losing streak

The Jacksonville Jaguars finally earned a win Sunday.

The Jaguars kicked a last-second field goal to beat the Miami Dolphins 23-20 in London, ending a 20-game losing streak that dated back to Week 2 of last season.

Jacksonville kicker Matthew Wright made the clutch kick from 53 yards out, minutes after curling in a 54-yarder to tie the game.

The victory also marked Urban Meyer's first as Jacksonville's head coach. Meyer was facing heavy pressure after a winless first month. The head coach also drew criticism for not flying back with his team in Week 5 and being videoed with a young woman dancing between his legs as he sat on a barstool.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence put together another strong performance, completing 25 of 41 passes for 319 yards and one touchdown while losing one fumble.

Meanwhile, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had an uneven return after missing the last three games with fractured ribs. The sophomore signal-caller produced 329 yards and two touchdowns but threw a brutal interception late in the third quarter.

Miami, which entered the season with playoff aspirations, dropped to 1-5 with the defeat.
