Here's a look at the injury situation involving teams in action Wednesday:

Calgary Flames

Jiri Hudler is listed as day-to-day after battling the flu. However, he did practice on Tuesday and should be able to play in the Flames' opener on Wednesday night. If he feels worse and can't go, expect Michael Frolik to jump on the top line with Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau.

Last year's breakout defenseman T.J. Brodie suffered a broken bone in his hand is listed as week-to-week. Brodie is expected to be replaced by newcomer Dougie Hamilton alongside Mark Giordano on the top pairing.

Los Angeles Kings

Kings defenseman Jake Muzzin is doubtful for the season opener with an upper-body injury according to head coach Darryl Sutter. Muzzin is expected to log big minutes this year alongside Drew Doughty on the top pairing.

With fellow defenseman Matt Greene also banged up, expect more minutes from the group of Christian Ehrhoff, Jeff Schultz, Brayden McNabb and Alec Martinez.

Injury Free

The Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, San Jose Sharks, Vancouver Canucks and Toronto Maple Leafs have no significant injuries that affect the daily fantasy hockey landscape.
