Why Acuña's No. 1: Acuña tops our fantasy outfield list for a second consecutive season - with good reason. The Braves superstar put together a milestone 2023 campaign, becoming the first player in MLB history to hit 40-plus homers and steal 70-plus bags. He also blew up other fantasy categories such as hits (217), runs (149), doubles (35), RBIs (106), batting average (.337) and on-base percentage (.416).
Player worth reaching for: Historically, Nimmo hasn't given fantasy owners much in the way of homers or RBIs, but that changed last season when he belted 24 round-trippers with 68 RBIs. Add in his customary high on-base percentage, solid average and 30-plus doubles, and he's worth a reach in the middle rounds.
Dark-horse pick: Jack Suwinski didn't make our top 50, but we still like him as a sleeper selection. The Pirates outfielder had a nice all-around season in 2023, hitting 26 homers with 74 RBIs, 63 runs scored, 13 steals and the 23rd-highest FanGraphs offensive rating among qualified positional players, ahead of players like Fernando Tatis Jr. and Nick Castellanos.
