Why Betts' No. 1: Betts immediately became the top second baseman in fantasy after the Los Angeles Dodgers moved him into a more permanent role as an infielder. The seven-time All-Star is coming off one of the best campaigns of his career in 2023, hitting 39 home runs with 40 doubles, 107 RBIs, and 14 steals. Betts also batted .307 and posted a .408 on-base percentage.

Player worth reaching for: Stott is an underrated commodity on the Phillies and would serve well on anyone's fantasy team. The 26-year-old put together a well-rounded 2023 campaign, recording 15 homers, 32 doubles, 62 RBIs, and 31 stolen bases. Hitting sixth in Philadelphia's high-powered attack, Stott should get plenty of opportunities to have a similar season in 2024.

Dark-horse pick: Jackson Holliday is baseball's top prospect, and he has a legitimate shot of being the Baltimore Orioles' everyday second baseman with Jordan Westburg moving to third following Joey Ortiz's trade to the Milwaukee Brewers. Holliday is only 20 years old but possesses incredible bat-to-ball and on-base skills. He hit .323 with a .442 on-base percentage across several minor-league levels last season.
