The Miami Marlins will allow players from their 40-man roster to access the club's spring training facility in Jupiter, Florida, starting Tuesday, according to Andy Slater of FOX Sports 640.
The Marlins appear to be the first MLB team to allow players to use a spring training complex for baseball activities amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Players can reportedly use the batting cages and throw off the mound but won't have access to the clubhouse or the rest of the facility.
Workouts must be individual, though a staff member will be present, and people at the facility will follow social distancing guidelines, a source told Steven Wine of The Associated Press.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis opened his state for professional sports last week. However, fans likely won't be able to attend events.
