Broncos' Sanders inactive for MNF, plans to return in Week 9
Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is inactive for Monday Night Football versus the Kansas City Chiefs as he continues to nurse an ankle injury.
Sanders, who hasn't played since Oct. 15, expects to return for Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Emmanuel Sanders believes he is a week away and will play in Philly next week. Original timetable was 6 weeks. Expects to easily beat that.
