Watch: Dyson's dominant day earns him 2 Gatorade baths
What's Jarrod Dyson going to do for an encore tonight?
The Kansas City Royals right fielder put on a show during the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Boston Red Sox at Kauffman Stadium. Dyson started off his afternoon by showing off his speed, as he tripled despite stumbling out of the batter's box to lead off the sixth inning.
He saved the best for last, though, when he unleashed an absolute rocket of a throw from right field to nail Xander Bogaerts at third base in the eighth inning.
For his efforts, which helped the Royals earn a 3-2 win in the first game of the doubleheader, he received not one, but two celebratory Gatorade showers from catcher Salvador Perez during his postgame interview.
