Fuchs: Leicester has 'the quality' to compete without Vardy
Christian Fuchs is the latest Leicester City player to state his belief that the Foxes can cope during the suspension of Jamie Vardy.
Danny Simpson has already said that they will "deal with it" amid Vardy's punishment for his second yellow and improper conduct against West Ham United on Sunday.
The 29-year-old striker will learn of the duration of his ban on Thursday, with many predicting he'll face two matches on the sidelines.
"It's a new situation for us because Jamie hasn't missed a game yet but I think we can cope," said Fuchs of the Yorkshireman, who has 22 goals and six assists, meaning he has been involved in more tallies in the Premier League than anyone else.

"We have this confidence, we have the quality. Every time Leonardo Ulloa comes off the bench he has done well and he's a big part of the team. I think we can definitely compete."
Ulloa is likely to deputise for Vardy alongside Shinji Okazaki. The Argentinian was the club's top scorer last season with 11, and has contributed four goals from five starts in this term. There are other options to ponder for Claudio Ranieri though, with Andy King impressing in midfield when called upon and Jeffrey Schlupp offering options on the left-hand side.

"Shinji played a big part so far in this season," Fuchs continued. "People know about his qualities and that he can also score goals.
"We know, we trust those players and we know that we can be a strong team together."
Leicester's draw with West Ham allowed Tottenham Hotspur to move within five points of the east Midlands outfit at the top with a 4-0 win in the Potteries, but Fuchs stresses that the squad feels no pressure with four games remaining of the 2015-16 campaign.
"They played a really good game against Stoke (City) but it's not putting any pressure on us," said Fuchs. "We don't really feel the pressure.
"Nobody expected us to be five points clear with four games to go. So where is the pressure for us? We have nothing to lose."
Vardy is definitely out of Leicester's next outing, a visit from Swansea City on Sunday, due to his dismissal.
