NC State running back Reggie Gallaspy will not play in the Belk Bowl against Mississippi State as he deals with an undisclosed injury, the school announced.

Gallaspy, second on the team in rushing, suffered the injury in the final game of the season against North Carolina.

The Wolfpack are expected to turn to a combination of Nyheim Hines and Dakwa Nichols at running back.

Gallaspy has rushed for 316 yards and four touchdowns on 66 carries this season.

NC State also announced that sophomore safety Shawn Boone will be out for the game.
