PHOTO: New conference, new uniforms for Appalachian State

Appalachian State is set to officially join the Sun Belt Conference on July 1. With the move, the school's football program will join the highest level of competition in college football: the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).

And its players will be outfitted in sleek new duds when they make their debut. 

Appalachian State running backs coach Chris Foster tweeted this picture of his team's new attire:

It's unclear if this is Appalachian State's new primary uniform or simply a one-off alternate.
