Shoulder injury ends quarterback Bryn Renner's career at UNC
North Carolina quarterback Bryn Renner's season is over according to Inside Carolina due to a shoulder injury the quarterback suffered in Saturday's game against N.C. State.
Renner was injured on a hit by N.C. State's Monty Nelson with 1:27 left in the third quarter of that game.

The injury effectively ends Renner's collegiate career as he is in his senior year of eligibility and is not eligible to redshirt.
Renner threw for 8,221 yards during his career with the Tar Heels, 20th most in ACC history.
Marquise Williams is expected to take Renner's spot as the team's starting quarterback for the remainder of the season.
