Five-star offensive tackle David Sanders announced his commitment to Tennessee on Saturday.

The Volunteers secured the 2025 prospect over finalists Georgia, Ohio State, and Nebraska.

Sanders, who will play his senior year at Providence Day School in Charlotte, told ESPN's Eli Lederman that the culture within Tennessee's football program and his relationship with head coach Josh Heupel and offensive line coach Glen Elarbee significantly factored into his choice.

"Tennessee treated me like family from Day 1," Sanders said, per Lederman. "It was definitely the place I felt most at home. The locker room. The recruitment. They have a great class coming in, and I look forward to being a part of it and going in there and getting better."

Sanders is the Volunteers' highest pledge in Heupel's tenure. The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder is considered the top-ranked offensive tackle and the No. 4 overall prospect on the 2025 ESPN 300.

Tennessee also received a commitment in June from five-star prospect Douglas Utu, the third-ranked offensive tackle and No. 11 overall recruit in the upcoming class.
