Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis said Sunday he's "doing good" after being taken to a local hospital following a gruesome left leg sustained in Saturday's 58-13 victory against North Alabama.

Travis, who was carted off in the first quarter, provided the update from his hospital bed.

"Just wanted to let you know I'm doing good, feeling good," Travis said in an Instagram video. "I got a smile on my face. Just going to follow God's plan. God has a journey for me and I'm going to trust him every step of the way."

Travis, 23, was in visible pain after being tackled following a 16-yard run. The redshirt senior's left foot and ankle appeared to get trapped under a North Alabama defender. His leg was in an air cast as he was removed from the field.

Coach Mike Norvell told reporters postgame that he had no update on Travis' injury, according to ESPN's Andrea Adelson.

"We knew this was Jordan Travis' last game at Doak Campbell Stadium," Norvell said. "I wanted to see him have a special game. Anytime somebody gets hurt, it's painful to see, it's painful to have to go through. You just want so bad for that kid because he does everything right."

Tate Rodemaker replaced Travis with the Seminoles trailing the Lions 13-0. Rodemaker led a 58-point unanswered run to guide Florida State to a blowout victory. Rodemaker completed 13 of his 23 pass attempts for 217 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Travis was considered a Heisman Trophy candidate with two weeks remaining in the regular season. Travis passed for 2,735 yards, 20 touchdowns, and two interceptions, with a 64.1% completion rate. He also rushed for 160 yards and seven scores.

The West Palm Beach, Florida, native has led Florida State to a 10-0 record entering Saturday. The Noles entered the weekend as the No. 4 team in the College Football Playoff rankings.

A former Louisville transfer, Travis was an integral piece in Florida State's turnaround from a 5-7 record in 2021 to a 10-3 finish in 2022.

Florida State has already clinched a spot in the ACC Championship Game where they'll play Louisville on Dec. 2.
