Burrow calls out NCAA after Ohio State valued at $1.5B
It's no secret that major college football programs are worth big money, and it appears to bother Joe Burrow.
The Ohio State backup quarterback responded to a report Thursday that the Buckeyes were worth $1.5 billion.
Our team is worth 1.5 BILLION dollars but it wouldn't be fair to other students if we get a free hamburger https://t.co/SKHPmhzeRq

The NCAA doesn't allow players to be paid or make money of their likeness, and it isn't the first time Burrow has voiced his opinion about the issue. Earlier this month, Burrow criticized Maryland for running a promotion that awarded a student $10,000 if the Terrapins returned a punt for a touchdown in the second half of a game.
"Let's give the money that the players are making for us to some random kid to try to make even more money off of our "student" athletes" https://t.co/XYs9imkr8D
