Arkansas poaches Musselman from Nevada as new head coach
Arkansas has hired former Nevada bench boss Eric Musselman as its next head coach.
Musselman had been at Nevada since 2015, guiding the Wolf Pack to a combined 110-34 record over four seasons in the Mountain West Conference. Nevada has made the NCAA Tournament in each of the last three years, and matched the program's previous best postseason result with a run to the Sweet 16 in 2018.
He also has NBA coaching experience, taking charge of both the Golden State Warriors (2002-04) and the Sacramento Kings (2006-07). Musselman also had stints as an assistant with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks, and Memphis Grizzlies.
Arkansas was in the hunt for a new coach after dismissing Mike Anderson on March 26. He had coached the Razorbacks for eight seasons.
