North Carolina head coach Roy Williams holds a firm belief that his school is not involved in the FBI's lengthy probe into reputed corruption and bribery among a multitude of NCAA institutions.

"I feel very comfortable," Williams said, according to ESPN's Mark Schlabach. "If the phone rings at night, I'm not worried about that.

"I may worry about a lot of other things but it ain't about that."

A bombshell report that surfaced Wednesday revealed as many as 50 men's college basketball programs and a handful of Hall of Fame coaches may be implicated as a result of the FBI's investigation. That was preceded by another report a day earlier that stated three dozen Division I programs could be facing violations after the investigation uncovered financial records belonging to disgraced NBA agent Andy Miller.

While Williams is confident his Tar Heels will escape punishment, he said the monumental findings by the FBI will come to light soon.

"When you're talking about four guys (who were arrested), we've got 351 programs and everybody has four assistants, so it's a lot of people," Williams said. "I would guess some other things are going to drop at some point."

Williams has served as head coach for North Carolina since 2003, managing the Tar Heels to a 418-122 record and three NCAA championships.
