Analysis:
Patrick Beverley is back to full health after missing five games with an ankle injury, and has since taken over the starting point guard job, playing 30-plus minutes in each of the last two games. Terry was never viewed as a permanent solution at the position, but had received run as a starter for a handful of games after the struggling Ty Lawson proved to be an ill-suited running mate for James Harden. Quite surprisingly, Terry saw 20 minutes off the bench in Sunday's overtime win over the Knicks and scored seven points (2-4 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go with three steals, while Lawson went unused entirely. Even at his advancing age, Terry remains a three-point shooting threat, which may result in him playing time ahead of Lawson until the latter shows some semblance of productivity in a limited role.
