When the first screenshots from "NBA 2K16" were released Thursday - the latest in a slow and steady unveil of game details ahead of it's Sept. 29 release - it seemed video wouldn't be long to follow.

But this was a quick next step.

Golden State Warriors superstar, league MVP, NBA champion, and co-cover athlete Steph Curry posted the first clip of actual gameplay Friday, showing off his signature free-throw routine. Curry and 2K teased the inclusion of mouthguard chomping in mid-July, and Curry's highlight didn't disappoint in that regard.

More gameplay coming on Monday from 2K in “Beyond the Shadows”

That's an incredibly limited clip from which to judge - it looks great, save for Curry's eyes making it seem like he hasn't slept since his Davidson days - but Curry promises more to come on Monday.

Details of any gameplay changes have been scarce, but the game is directed by Spike Lee and will have a special edition cover featuring Michael Jordan.
