As competitors, Stephen Curry helped send Anthony Davis and James Harden home during the NBA playoffs.

Now, after a remarkable season that saw them all take their games to new heights, they'll share in the spoils on a joint honor.

"I'm guessing every one of us grew up dreaming of the moment we'd be on the cover," Davis told Marco della Cava of USA Today of the cover announcement.

It was the second big 2K16 announcement of the day, as it was also revealed on Thursday that Academy Award-winning director Spike Lee concocted the newest version of the game's My Career mode.

Curry will hope any talk of game cover curses is just that, as the league's MVP prepares to take on LeBron James's Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

The Golden State Warriors point guard averaged 23.8 points, 7.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds and two steals on an absurd True Shooting Percentage of 63.8 to lead his team to a league-leading 67 wins, earning All-NBA 1st Team honors in addition to his second straight All-Star nod and his first MVP award.

Davis continued his ascent towards greatness by lifting the New Orleans Pelicans to an unlikely playoff berth in the unforgiving Western Conference, becoming only the eighth player in league history to post a 30-plus PER season.

Harden, meanwhile, averaged 27.4 points, seven assists and 5.7 rebounds in carrying the Houston Rockets to 56 wins and the franchise's first Western Conference Final appearance in 18 years.

Both Davis and Harden joined Curry on the All-NBA 1st Team, with Steph's Warriors eliminating Davis's Pelicans in the first round of the postseason and Harden's Rockets in the West Final.
