VIDEO: 'Dr.' Baron Davis makes odd cameo in 'Joe Dirt 2'
If Hollywood is willing to give "Joe Dirt" a sequel, maybe Baron Davis' attempt to return to the NBA at age 36 isn't so crazy, after all.
Somehow, "Joe Dirt 2" was given the green light despite the original owning an 11-percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and it's given Davis an opportunity to expand his acting resume. The two-time All-Star has a cameo as the title character's doctor, and the not-safe-for-work scene is, well, interesting, at least.
Davis has previously appeared in the "Entourage" movie, the Adam Sandler offering "That's My Boy," and "Sin City Saints," a Yahoo original TV series about a fictional NBA team in Las Vegas.
The acting opportunities - eat your heart out, LeBron James - may not preclude a Davis comeback, but it's a nice backup option for the affable point guard. Davis still has his handles, as he recently showed off in a 44-point performance at the Drew League.
