VIDEO: LeBron James pitches very dark 'Trainwreck' sequel

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

Despite persistent nightmares about the NBA Finals, LeBron James is living the Hollywood dream life this offseason.

James has a featured role in the upcoming Judd Apatow offering "Trainwreck", where he stars alongside Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, and a host of other celebrities set to make cameos. James plays Hader's client and friend and he looks to be quite comfortable working as a comedic sidekick.

The experience was rewarding enough that James is already thinking sequel, even though the first "Trainwreck" doesn't hit theatres until Friday.

In a "Funny or Die" sketch where James and company are in Akron, Ohio for the movie's premier, James pitches "Trainwreck 2", and he's got quite a dark idea for it. James not only wants to direct himself and shoot the film in one continuous shot, but he also wants to kill off Hader and take the lead role himself.

As a feature length film, that may not have legs. As a follow-up "Funny or Die" short, count us in.
