Russell Westbrook records second-fastest triple-double in NBA since 1955
We said earlier that Russell Westbrook was in a giving mood. Well, it turns out he felt like scoring and rebounding a bit, also.
Triple-double for Russell Westbrook. 13 points, 10 rebounds,14 assists. 4:29 left in Q3. Thunder leads Sixers 84-63 @FSOklahoma

This marks the eighth triple-double of Westbrook's career -- and second of the season -- but that isn't nearly the most impressive thing about this feat.
No, the mind-boggling part of it all is that the 25-year-old point guard needed just under 21 minutes to record the necessary stats.
Historically speaking, that is the second-fastest triple-double the league has seen since the 1955 season.
Fastest triple-double in NBA since '55 was Jim Tucker on Feb. 20, 1955. Syracuse vs. New York. Did it in 17 minutes. Russ is 2nd fastest.

Granted, it came against the Philadelphia 76ers, but we shouldn't let that take anything away from what was a ridiculous display of efficiency.
