Paul expected to miss 'some time' after injuring left hamstring
Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul exited Thursday's game against the Miami Heat with a strained left hamstring, and the early outlook isn't promising.
"It'll be some time," said Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni following his team's narrow 101-99 loss at American Airlines Arena, according to the Associated Press' Tim Reynolds.
The nine-time All-Star is set to undergo an MRI on Friday. He left with 6:43 remaining in the second quarter, clutching the back of his leg after Heat forward Derrick Jones Jr. stole the ball from him.

The Rockets are 0-5 this season when CP3 doesn't suit up, and were 15-9 last season.
