Kentucky sophomore guard Isaiah Briscoe has declared for the 2017 NBA Draft and plans to sign with an agent, the school announced Thursday.

"BBN, thank you to the greatest fans in the entire world," Briscoe said in a statement. "Thank you to Coach (John Calipari), Coach KP (Kenny Payne), Coach Tony (Barbee), Coach JJ (Joel Justus), Coach Robes (John Robic), and (strength and conditioning coach) Rob (Harris). You helped me develop my game on the court and helped me grow as a man off the court."

Starting 69 of the 70 games he played in during his two seasons, Briscoe averaged 10.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. He also won two regular-season and SEC tournament titles.

During the Wildcats' win over Ole Miss on Dec. 29, Briscoe became the third player in Kentucky history to post a triple-double (19 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds).

The guard is the fourth player from Kentucky's 2016-17 team to declare for the NBA draft, joining fellow guards De'Aaron Fox and Malik Monk, along with forward Bam Adebayo.
