Connor Zilisch: Last Place in FireKeepers Casino 400
Zilisch crashed and finished 37th in the FireKeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Zilisch would start 34th on the grid after a tough qualifying session at Michigan International Speedway. The Trackhouse Racing youngster would run into trouble early, losing control in turns 3 and 4 and making contact with the wall. He would pit and the team would make repairs keeping him in the race. On lap 9, Zilisch would lose control in turn 2 and head nose-first into the wall hard. The heavy damage would end his day on the spot and he would be the first of many DNF's in this caution-filled race.
