Erik Jones: Third at the Monster Mile

Jones finished third in the NASCAR All-Star Race at Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

Jones was one of the surprises of the afternoon at Dover Motor Speedway. The LEGACY Motor Club driver raced his way into the final segment based on average finish position from the opening two segments. Jones started seventh on the grid for the final segment and worked his way forward over the closing laps. He would hold off Austin Dillon down the stretch to secure an impressive third-place finish at the Monster Mile.
